Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will maintain accurate financial records and perform various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts and possesses excellent organizational and communication skills ... Must have Minimum 3 years of continuous QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience. Duties - Monthly bookkeeping for one client initially - Perform account reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of financial data - Record debits and credits accurately in the general ledger - Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements - Record journal entries - Period-end closing for DIY clients using Keeper (we provide training on Keeper) - Utilize QuickBooks Online (QBO) to manage financial transactions - Monthly review of client financial statements to identify and troubleshoot issues (e.g., reconciliations, mapping to Payroll systems, returned payments, etc.) - Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks - Coordinate with the reporting manager for periodic “office hours” for questions and training - Communicate with clients and team members Qualifications - Three years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper in QuickBooks Online (QBO) - Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Solid understanding of financial concepts and procedures - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Native English in writing and speaking Working Hours The working hours for this position are flexible and may vary from week to week based on our needs and yours. On average, the role will initially require 2-8 hours per week, with the plan of moving up to 10-20 hours per week or full-time.
